Hi, I'm Snezana. My family is from Macedonia. My mother grew up on a farm where you lived off the land, ate when you were hungry and exercise was something that you did each day as part of your tasks. You ate and moved to create a body that could look after the family, allow you to work and do what you needed to do. And while I was born in Australia, this was still the beliefs my mother passed on to me.
In Australia, my parents didn’t believe in girls being active. So I had to fight to train as a gymnast. I hid my physical abilities for a long time. But then I saw people exercising at the gym, joined them and loved it. I studied Physical Education at University and then became a secondary school teacher. What I saw when I first became a Personal Trainer was that people didn’t see their body as something to help them achieve what they wanted every day. They had become confused about the fundamentals of exercise and health. |

Luke grew up as an overweight kid, and it wasn't until his early 20s when he got into Martial Arts that he got taken his fitness seriously to compete. Luke's experience of growing up with low self-esteem and getting bullied and then finding a way to turn his life around through fitness has shaped the trainer he is today. Luke is a firm believer that balance and consistency are essential. Luke loves Martial Arts, basketball, and looking after the people he loves. Luke wants everyone to leave his session feeling like they've taken a positive step toward progress or accomplishment. In his free time, Luke loves to study, watch Mixed Martial Arts, cook, go on adventures, and play video games. |

I tried in the few months leading up to the walk, to get back into running but every time I did I found an excuse to not keep going. Surprisingly I finished the Oxfam walk last year in around 29 hours. I was sore. Every muscle in my body hurt, my feet and ankles were so swollen, it was over a week until I could wear shoes again.
My fitness and eating continued along the same after this, I felt uncomfortable going out with friends, to events, even going to work was challenging because I wasn’t comfortable in my uniform. |

She wasn't feeling good in her body and so gave us a call and got started with a Free Week Trial. Since then Kaitlin has joined as a Member of Sentience Personal Training in the Start Up Membership, attending 2 Semi Personal Training sessions per week.
Kaitlin started with us 12 weeks ago when her second son was only 10 weeks old! After having her son, Kaitlin wanted to get back into shape, as she was fairly fit and active about 3 years ago, prior to having children. |
