Living Longer Living Stronger
If you answered 'yes' to any of the above questions, you should consider strength training.
Strength training (or resistance or weight training as it is sometimes called) involves use of weights to build muscle strength and endurance. To be effective, the program must be progressive – as you become stronger, we encourage you to increase the weights you are using.
Strength training is particularly important for older people. As we age, we lose muscle mass and bone density, resulting in the much of the loss of function we associate with getting older.

Session Times: Monday to Friday 11am and 3pm Cost: $5 per class
Two years ago through illness and inactivity I found myself unable to ordinary tasks. I have been attending classes at Sentience PT since March of 2009. The difference in my strength and attitude has been amazing. I am in my 70’s, have a heart condition but with exercises and knowing what I can do and can’t do has been an inspiration for me. Also our class is great with the support and encouragement of the trainers. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to keep in maintaining good health in such a happy atmosphere.
Living Longer Living Stronger has given me a new lease of life. I look forward to my sessions every Monday and Wednesday. I have made new friends who inspire me to do better and push myself. Thanks must go to all the trainers for their encouraging words.
Encouraging trainers help to keep you going. I have been made to feel comfortable in coming to an experience I had not been in before. Thank you.
